SMS Compliance Guide

Important Notice for B2B Platform

EstateGPT is a B2B SaaS platform that provides SMS capabilities to property inspection companies. Our platform REQUIRES all business customers to obtain explicit SMS consent from their end customers and comply with all messaging regulations including TCPA.

For Inspection Companies

As an inspection company using EstateGPT's SMS features, you are required to follow these compliance requirements:

Mandatory Requirements

  • Obtain explicit written consent before sending any SMS messages
  • Use EstateGPT's built-in consent management system
  • Keep consent checkboxes unchecked by default
  • Honor all opt-out requests within 24 hours
  • Maintain consent records for at least 4 years

Prohibited Practices

  • Never send messages without explicit consent
  • Never pre-check consent boxes
  • Never use purchased phone number lists
  • Never send messages outside 8 AM - 9 PM recipient's time

SMS Consent Flow

Step 1: Booking Form Integration

When clients book inspections, your booking form must include:

  • Records consent timestamp and method
  • Stores the exact consent language used
  • Links consent to specific phone numbers
  • Prevents messages to non-consenting users

Step 3: Message Delivery

Only after verified consent, messages can be sent for:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Inspection report availability
  • Critical inspection updates
  • Service-related communications

Appointment Confirmation:

"Your home inspection with [Company] is confirmed for [Date] at [Time]. Address: [Property]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply."

Report Ready:

"Your inspection report for [Address] is ready. View it at: [Link]. Questions? Call [Phone]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

Opt-Out Confirmation:

"You have been unsubscribed from [Company] SMS messages via EstateGPT. No further messages will be sent."

Your SMS Rights

When you provide your phone number to an inspection company using EstateGPT:

  • • You control whether to receive SMS messages (opt-in required)
  • • You can opt-out anytime by replying STOP
  • • Your number is never sold or shared with third parties
  • • Messages are only for your inspection services
